excerpt: Queen of Swords

I'm going to post an excerpt, but the choice is giving me pause. Should I just start at the beginning? Because giving you something from the middle is bound to upset an apple cart or two. I've already posted the prologue; a chunk of Chapter 1?

Opinions? Thoughts? Suggestions?

YEPEE... whatever it is it will be great. Although I imagine you can't give too much of the plot away so something from the beginning would be lovely. THX.

Something from the beginning, I think. (yay!)

Yes, something from the beginning.

Yes anything at all would be greatfully accepted!

I think an excerpt from the middle of the book would be more interesting. Not that I want any major spoilers to be given away but we already know Hannah and Luke are going to be searching for Janet so a scene where they are in a foreign port asking questions wouldn't be a surprise.

Sara,

You mean to tell us that you would give us an excerpt just like that? Just because I came out and asked you one fine afternoon? Wow! A contest? An essay submission from fans? I am ready for anything.

I can't decide. I feel like something from the beginning is much more sensible, yet I am dying to know what's happening with Jennet and Luke's pursuit of her. BUI that'll just make it all the more delicious to read later, so something from the beginning is best, methinks. Yay!

Oh please, anything! I'm dying for the next one to come out :)
