don't give up on me yet

I haven't forgot about this weblog, really. It occurs to me every day that I've left it too long and then I go back to work. Or try to. I'm making decent progress, and hope that y'all will hang in there during this interruption of the regularly scheduled programming.

Next week I'm away, and I'm not sure if I'll have internet access. If I do, I'll post here to let you know what it's like to take six sixteen year old girls to a beach house for six days. You read that right. Six girls, all of them sixteen years old. And a six hour car trip to get there. Does the repetition of the number six mean something, besides the obvious fact that I was clearly possessed of a demon when I arranged all this?

Nothing but good times ahead.

SOS from an unpublished writer! Hi. I'm Robin Nevitt and I am about finished writing a novel in the same style as Into the Wilderness(loved it like eating chocolate cake). Its a historical romance set in the 1700s and based on a Shawnee Indian village. Without going into detail, I can tell you that it is my baby and I have no idea what to do with it when it is done.I think that it is just as good (or close with some polishing) as the similiar styles I read.I subscribed to Writers Digest hoping to learn something and I have learned alot of other things, but not how to get a manuscript into a good publishing house. I have heard you need an agent? How did you get published? Can you point me in the right direction? Nice website by the way! Much more than I expected.
