an early peek (listen): Queen of Swords
For anybody who is within striking distance of Bellingham Washington on beautiful Bellingham Bay overlooking the San Juan Islands and the glaciers on Mount Baker (yes, it really is that good)...
I'm reading from Queen of Swords (and signing copies) at Village Books on Tuesday, October 24, at 7:30 pm. Which is, I must point out, before the official release date.
And: about four more hours to get your rewrite this! entry in to win a signed copy.
And: apropos of nothing, but here's the Girlchild at three....
And here's the Girlchild's senior portrait:
She's beautiful, Rosina! I know you're proud!! Thanks for sharing!
Lynn
That is a lovely picture of your daughter Rosina. What a wonderful smile she has!
Rosina,
Your daughter is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing this photo with us all.
Look at that baby! So neat to see the child still in the adult before us. Wish I could be at the book signing! Good luck with it.
What a beautiful daughter you have Rosina, I see part of her mother in her too!
Good Luck with the book signing and I hope your feeling better too!
Rosina, Your daughter is beautiful. What a great picture!
I REALLY wish I could be at the book signing, but alas, the hubby would be very upset to find me gone one morning. Do airlines have "early book release" airfare specials? Good luck and I hope you're feeling better.
I too want to comment on what a lovely smile she has. And I would kill for such thick, beautiful hair!
What a beautiful girl and a beautiful smile. You must be so proud! Enjoy the book signing, Rosina, and know that we ALL wish we could be there (even though you'd end up with a terrible writers' cramp on our account).
To add to everyone else's comments - the girlchild is a beautiful young woman and you must be so very proud of her.
I wish I lived closer for the book reading/signing - sigh - Australia is very far away from everything!
Rosina, You have a lovely daughter and she has a beautiful smile. You and the mathematician must be very proud. Have fun at your reading and book signing. Wish I could be there :(
Rosina, your daughter is truly beautiful. If she reads this I'm sure she'll roll her eyes(like I do when my mom's friends say things like that), but let her know that I love the hair! I'm sure she hates it some days, people with thick curly hair always do. Oh well, we never get what we want. That's why they invented the hair straightener and curling iron:)
Lovely girl.
wow she has grown up to be quite stunning. Very photogenic if you ask me. :)
