go on, win some stuff
I have been writing pretty well today, and I want to stay with it as long as it lasts, given the bumpy ride I've been having lately.
However. I wanted to say that I have a pile o' books almost ready to give away. This is a selection of my all time favorite novels. Not the Judith Ivory novels, which I'm saving for next time, but six novels I would take with me to that infamous desert island. Some of them are out of print and hard to find.
I'll post a picture as soon as I've got the pile o' books organized, and time permits.
I haven't decided yet if I'll run this giveaway through the forum or here on the weblog. Speak up if you've got an opinion.
Oh and: I still plan to give away some signed first editions of Queen of Swords. As soon as they show up on my doorstep, you'll hear about it.
Rosina! In my humble opinion I vote for the giveaway through the forum since I am aleady a huge participator and of course this makes my chances of winning even greater :D
I would vote for the forum, as well. Though not sure why...I guess it just seems easier to keep up with...however, Rosina, whatever is best with you is fine with me.
I vote for the forum too.
Why not do both? I've noticed you have fans that frequent one or the other.( and some that visit both)
Sounds like a interesting collection of books..how bout whomever comes closest ta guessing what they are gets them?
Ah, WW. That is a truly clever idea. I should have just asked you straight out.
Let me think about the best way to handle this, but I do like the idea of guessing the six books. I could draw a name from the group of people with the highest scores.
And by the way, I'd be really impressed if the highest score were more than three of six.
I just love your books and have read all the Wilderness books can't wait till your new book 'Queen of Swords' reaches New Zealand, so I have ordered it through Amazon to get it earlier even if it is costing me twice the price, what with shipping it here from the US etc and our low New Zealand. Anyway I will vote for the forum (I am not to sure what I am voting though)
Best of luck and happy writing
Christine
I have just finished reading the summaries on amazon.com. Perhaps they should be labeled spoilers like the ones for upcoming T.V. shows. I was excited to learn the plot lines but didn't need to know the ending.
Ellen -- which summaries, for which books?
I loved your Wilderness series, Give them away however you (like as long as I get the new one!!;)
